A few months back a came across a sale that I just couldn't pass up! I am addicted to beautiful fabric.
My intentions were to make several pieces for my business Hattie Mae and make birthday outfits for my twins and my niece! I did make a dress for my nieces 5th birthday. I used the precious purple fabric below!
Shortly after that I found myself uninspired! I know what you're thinking! With all of that beautiful fabric how could you lack inspiration?
Well I've been a little out of sorts lately. I guess that you could say I've been a bit blue! The twins had to wear store bought Birthday outfits this year! I know, I dropped the ball. :(
I'm feeling like I'm getting back to myself this week! You see last week I spent our first week of Summer vacation in Cancun with my family! It's amazing what a little R&R can do to the soul! I feel so refreshed and ready to tackle all of the to dos on my list!
I now find myself full of inspiration and I'm ready to get to work! I have a Trunk show to get ready for and I'd love to have several outfits for the girls to start school in! By the way the twins will be in Kindergarten in the Fall! I have so many plans for my time while they are in school!
If you haven't heard of Thirty-One Gifts you are missing out! My fabulous friend Liz joined a little over a year ago and I had not heard of it until then! The first time I saw the products I fell in LOVE! 31 offers adorable bags, totes, thermal totes, purses, stationary and so on! The best part is that you can personalize most of it! Since then I have been thinking of joining! Well I finally took the leap! It's a Christian based business and everything that I've seen so far is phenomenal. The benefits are fantastic!
If you are looking for a home based business to join that's fun to help make ends meet, to pay for extras for the kids or just need some extra Mommy time this could be a fit for you!
My name is Julie. I am a SAHM of three beautiful little girls. I so want to be that Super Mom that can do everything and still keep her calm. However, I am FAR FAR FAR from that. You get my point. Anyway, things would be perfect if my existence as a Super Mom only meant making crafts, sewing clothes and costumes for my girls and throwing parties then the title would be mine. In my case I can't seem to keep all of the other loose ends from fraying. Like cleaning, cooking, homework and anything that requires organization or accountability! I hope that you enjoy my misadventures as I document my time striving to be Super Mom for my girls!
